Save 60-Acres Campaign 2008
SASS has
lost its lawsuit against King County and the loss of 60-Acres is imminent.
SASS has elected to fight the lease of our flying field to soccer by
contacting the King County Council and bringing them up to speed on the
situation. Its a two prong attack, one prong
is to form 4-person teams that will personally meet with each council
member. The other prong is a letter writing campaign.

King County Council Members
|
First Prong: WE need your help, we'll be setting up face-to-face meetings with the King County council members to go over the impact of leasing 60-Acres to soccer. If you can join one of the four-person teams, please contact the team leader.
|
Second Prong: EVERYONE needs to write letters for this campaign. If you can't find time to write letters, you're going to be looking for a new hobby this summer... there won't be any sailplane flying in western Washington. Period.
