| LOCATION: 60 Acres South,
Redmond, Washington, 1/2 Mile East of Willows Road on NE 116th Street opposite the soccer
fields. Access road is at the East end of field. TIMES: Registration opens at 8:30 am. Pilots meeting 9:15 am on Saturday, 8:30 am on Sunday. Flying will begin shortly after the pilots meeting. The last round will be the one in effect at 4:00 pm on Saturday and 3:00 pm on Sunday. CLASSES: RES (Rudder/Elevator/Spoiler); Unlimited Competitor; Unlimited Expert; 2-Meter Combined. (Unlimited means that no wingspan limit is imposed. Combined means that no pilot classifications are used.) TASKS: Saturday - Thermal Wizard

to be a Thermal Wizard? Sunday - Mandatory
Assigned tasks AWARDS: 1st through 3rd places, all classes - based on
Saturday and Sunday combined scores. RADIOS: Narrow band RX and TX only. LAUNCH EQUIPMENT: Rahm winches with retrievers. FACILITIES: 2 Porta potties on site. Complementary ice cold Soda Pop and water will be provided both days by the Seattle Area Soaring Society FEES: $10 per day for one class, $15 for two (two classes maximum).

Q FRIDAY FUN FLY AND PRACTICE Q Feel free to use the field on Friday for practice, launching scale ships, and general fun flying. A winch might be available at the field, but do not depend on it. Hand launched gliders and electric gliders are welcome. Please use one and only one of the frequency boards at the field. It is the responsibility of every pilot to ensure that the frequency they plan to use is reserved before turning on their transmitter.
