All,

As you are probably aware-it appears we have a window of some rather nice weather. So let’s go fly!!!!

Since the fields at 60 Acres North are still a bit suspect, and since we have a rather unique contest situation this weekend, we are going to have the Wednesday Night Fun Fly event at Carnation Farms tomorrow afternoon/evening. Several club members are going to be working on field layout with multiple winch scenarios (like maybe 6 or 7 winches-since we are so cool to have that many!!) and could probably use some help or at least some “input”.

One of the club’s goals with Carnation Farms is to be able to host a major (NWSS, etc) event, we want to see if we can figure out the best way to configure the field and make sure we have enough stuff to do it. It would be great to get folks involved or at least aware of field configurations, the gear and stuff.

Come on out-I’ll be heading out around 1 pm or so (baby sitter dependant!!) and Doug B will be BBQ’n. Should be a nice evening. Bring your sun block and bug juice-yesterday the skeeters almost made off with one of the boys!!

Non-members are welcome, please contact Brian about accessing the field if you are a non-member.

If folks have a friend or guest they would like to bring, please assist them onto the field and be responsible for them-please DON’T give out the gate code-we need to be very careful with that!!
