Flying Sites

Location. 60-Acres Park South, Redmond, Washington (~14900 NE 116th St). From Interstate 405 (I-405) take the 124th Street (not Avenue) NE exit at the Totem Lake Shopping Center near Kirkland, north of Bellevue. Proceed east on 124th to 154th Pl NE (about 1 mile) and make a right on 154th and then another right at NE 116th St. Finally, turn left into the gravel parking lot, east of the field. Travel out the back of the gravel lot... then you will encounter a "Y" with the left branch going to the south end of the field and the right branch going to the north end along 116th. The police station is the largest building on the SW corner of NE 185 St and 101st Ave . Park in the lot anywhere that is not reserved and enter the main lobby on the south side of the building. The meeting room is on the left. There should be someone on duty at the entry window inside the lobby if you have any trouble finding us.

Carnation Farm is SASS' new summer home!  Acres of flying area for Sailplanes only!  SASS membership is required and property is protected by a locked gate.  Complete your memebership package to receive gate codes.  AMA and SASS safety rules are strictly enforced.

Located near Richland in Eastern Washington, Eagle Butte is one of the premier slope sites in the state. Richland is reached from Seattle by driving east on Interstate 90 past Ellensburg, then exiting on I-82 to Yakima and on to Richland. It's about a 3.5 hour drive.

You must join the Mid-Columbia Soarers to fly at Eagle Butte.
